South Florida offers many interesting attractions outside of the immediate vicinity of Miami. Anything is possible and these trips can be organized spontaneously along with other students. Your teachers will be your tour guides, we all know these destinations well and will do our best to ensure that you see the most at the lowest cost.
Everglades National Park - Go deep into the Everglades! At Gator Park you'll see all sorts of wildlife such as alligators, turtles, snakes, fish and exotic birds - as you take an Airboat Ride. The Florida Everglades is a vast wetland ecosystem encompassing over 4,500 miles of slow moving waters feeding this ever changing tropical habitat. All tours are narrated by professional guides so you'll have the opportunity to learn about the unique wetlands and its native inhabitants. The Everglades is America's only sub-tropical wilderness and visitors travel from all over the world to experience its natural beauty.
Miami Seaquarium - This unique place offers visitors an entertaining and educational experience. The region’s tropical climate allows for year-round outdoor marine shows featuring dolphins, killer whales and other sea creatures. The Seaquarium also features exhibits of sea turtles, seals, sea lions and Florida’s very own Manatee. The Miami Seaquarium is South Florida's #1 attraction!
Shopping - You will definitely want to do some shopping while you’re here. The Sawgrass Mills Outlet Mall is Florida's largest retail & entertainment center. It features more than 350 name-brand stores, well-known restaurants, a cinema and entertainment venues. At Aventura Mall, South Florida's premier shopping and dining destination, you will find top designers, trendsetting retailers and popular stores all under one roof. Aventura Mall is home to 6 department stores, 280 specialty retailers, 10 full service restaurants, a movie theater. Definitely worth the visit! And of course, Miami's Lincoln Road, an outdoor, pedestrian mall, is not to be missed!
Sports - South Florida has a team for every sport. So if you have ever been curious about American football and want to see the Dolphins play, are a fan of Lebron James and wish to see the Heat in action or if you have a desire to experience the unique atmosphere of the Daytona International Speedway or a Florida Marlins baseball game, let us know and we will organize the tickets and attend with you!
Excursions - Overnight Trips
Key West - Experience the best of tropical South Florida with a trip from Miami to Key West! The relaxing Caribbean atmosphere will dissolve your stress as you leisurely discover the southernmost city in the United States. The enchanting islands of the Florida Keys will take you on a mesmerizing journey not to be missed! After departing metro Miami, you will enjoy a scenic drive across 42 bridges and 32 islands to Key West. Here the Caribbean atmosphere, street artists, outdoor cafes and pubs are just waiting to enchant you. Be sure to stop in the heart of Old Town Key West where the home to one of America’s most honored and respected authors, Ernest Hemingway, can be visited. Definitely one of the most exciting yet relaxing trips you can experience in South Florida! Diving and Kayaking in the Keys - Key Largo is surrounded by crystal clear blue water and some of the world’s best dive sites, including John Pennekamp Coral Reef State Park and Biscayne National Park. Key Largo has many dive shops that will typically take you on a two dive trip in the morning or a two dive trip in the afternoon. You can also snorkel above the only live coral reef in the United States.
Amusement Parks - There are various amusement parks that are worth the visit. Whether it’s Busch Gardens in Tampa, Disney World and Universal Studios in Orlando or Kennedy Space Center on Cape Canaveral, we have the information you need and will be happy to organize a trip for you and your fellow students.
Tampa Bay, St. Petersburg and Florida's Southwest Coast - Here you can visit white sand beaches, explore the mind bending works of the Salvador Dali Museum, experience close-up encounters with amazing African animals and ride roller coasters at Busch Gardens amusement park or learn about the historic Ybor City. You can also watch the Tampa Bay Buccaneers play football, the Lightning play hockey or the Devil Rays play baseball during a day in downtown Tampa.
